The Screed Sled came out of a simple question: Why are we still fighting concrete by hand when we don't have to?

Frequently Asked Questions

The Screed Sled is a bump cutter attachment that connects to a ride-on power trowel, allowing contractors to mechanize the bump-cutting process for faster, flatter concrete floors.

By eliminating manual bump cutting, the Screed Sled reduces labor, minimizes operator fatigue, and allows crews to make more passes in less time.

The Screed Sled works with most 6', 8', 10', and 12' ride-on power trowels. Hydraulic machines provide the best performance, but mechanical models can also be used.

Use a true 2x4 or 2x5 aluminum or magnesium straightedge that extends approximately two feet beyond the width of your ride-on trowel.

Each Screed Sled includes the steel frame, end caps, turnbuckles, and mounting hardware. Straightedges are purchased separately.

The Screed Sled performs best on large slab-on-grade projects where productivity, FF numbers, and floor flatness are priorities.

While results vary, many contractors report 10–20 point improvements in FF numbers or more when the Screed Sled is used correctly.

By reducing labor, increasing production, and improving slab quality, many contractors recover their investment quickly. The more you use it, the quicker it pays for itself.

No. The Screed Sled is powered entirely by your existing ride-on power trowel.

The Screed Sled includes a 1-year warranty covering factory welds against manufacturing defects.

Product videos and application consultations are available. On-site demonstrations are currently not available at this time.

Yes. Free phone consultations are available, and on-site training can be arranged for an additional fee.

Most Screed Sled orders ship within 1–2 weeks, depending on inventory and production schedules.
